Relaxing Days - Bad Ischl

Last weekend was just so nice! I know that probably to many of you this is normal, but I think I have never been to such a nice hotel before. The food, the way we were being treated and especially the spa - everything was just so beautiful. The perfect weekend getaway at Villa Seilern in Bad Ischl. PLUS it was so sunny outside, we went for little strolls every day.

Look how beautifully they decorated our room. Yes, that's me on the right - my butt looks quite big. Must be because of the wide-angle lens, obviously :D

Now that I am back home, I had the idea of startig WhoWhatWear's 30 days wardrobe challenge. The ideas and inspiration they give every day can be really inspiring - or quite difficult sometimes. I'll let you know about it as soon as I start with it :)

Fall 2013

I've been looking for the perfect green/khaki parka with fur on the hood and a tie around the waist. It is supposed to be warm enough to wear it in winter. I already have a green parka, but it has no tie around the waist and is definitely not warm enough for winter. Any suggestions?

In the next few days, I can proudly announce that two very important events are coming up.On Friday, the "Wear Fair" fair (sounds so nice in English :3 ) opens. In the evening, there will be a fashion show where young designers can present their eco-friendly and ethically produced collections for fall/winter 13. Aaand as an extra, on the catwalk you will be able to see - exactly! - ME :) tadaaaaaa.

But the most interesting thing is of course, that you can learn a lot about eco-friendly lifestyle and food and fashion and so on. And you can of course also shop until either your eyes pop out, your hands fall off or your portemonnaie commits suicide out of desperation.

The next thing, happening on Thursday, is a few hours of incredibly enjoyable, delightful shopping in Vienna. What? Nothing special, you say?? Well, I know anyone can go shopping in Vienna, but not like Fabi and me are doing it this Saturday. A few weeks/months ago, I met two really nice girls who run a project called "Guerilla Mode Shopping". They only appear about once a month in different places in Vienna, for a few hours to please us with the finest and best-quality second hand stuff you can think of. And the best thing is, it is not even expensive. It is unique and stylish, and every shopping is dedicated to a certain topic, which makes the thing even more interesting.

Actually I promised last time that I would write a post about "Guerilla Mode Shopping" but I thought it might be better to first attend another shopping and then write a nice, detailed article about it. Sooo watch out for that ;) For more information, you can visit their facebook page:

Sziget 2013

Sziget 2013 was just amazing! I had such a good time with all the people I met, and at all the shows and performances I watched. I met so many nice and lovely people who all have a very special, unique sense of style and all the pictures I took were amazing! However, I feel really bad having to tell you all that my phone got stolen on my way back home. All the pictures are gone now because I wasn't able to upload the pics on dropbox in hungary. It's such a shame and I am just soooo sorry :( My suggestion is, that all of you who are interested to be featured on my blog just send me some pictures you took at Sziget festival. I would really love to show how wonderful it was and what amazing people were there, in my opinion this is worth being written about in a blog post ;) So if you are interested, please send me some of your pictures and maybe answer the following questions: 1. Mamas Geburtstag

Hallo!

Ich muss zugeben, ich bin leider keine von diesen Personen, die immer bei jedem Anlass das richtige Geschenk haben. Solche Leute haben einfach ein Gespür dafür, was sich die zu beschenkende Person wünscht. Sie sind kreativ und aufmerksam, auf diese Weise haben sie einfach immer das perfekte Geschenk parat. Schön wärs, aber Unsereins zerbricht sich stundenlang den Kopf über das perfekte Geschenk und findet dann doch wieder nur was halbwegs Passendes. Zu welcher Kategorie zählt ihr euch denn dazu? Habt ihr irgendwelche Tipps für unbegabte Schenker wie mich?

Naja, meine Mama hat sich aber schon gefreut über ihr Geschenk :) Die Cupcakes habe ich im Plain Vanilla in Linz gekauft - der Teller ist aus Südafrika und handbemalt. Kriegt man auch nicht so schnell mal wo ;)

Leider bin ich zur Zeit krank und habe noch dazu absolutes Redeverbot verordnet bekommen, also kann ich nicht mal telefonieren :( Weil leider alle arbeiten müssen hat noch dazu niemand Zeit für mich. Außerdem sollte ich Bettruhe einhalten, aber das Wetter draußen ist soooo schön!

... Ein Glück dass wir zuhause ne sonnengeschützte Terasse mit gemütlicher Couch, W-lan, Steckdosen usw. haben :D

Gegen die Langeweile guck ich mir grad alle Folgen von "Revenge" an, zwischendurch wird gekocht und später mach ich mir vielleicht die Nägel...
Für die Uni hätt ich mehr als genug zu tun - geht aber nicht, bin ja krank :P

Ein paar Eindrücke (Terasse und Mittagessen) gibts auch für euch. Das Mittagessen hab ich übrigens mit minimalstem Aufwand hinbekommen ;)

Nach all diesen verregneten und furchtbaren Hochwasser-Tagen gabs heute endlich wieder mal riiichtig viel Sonne. Schade dass es auch so schnell schon wieder vorbei ist :( Die Ziegen haben sich aber über die wenigen Sonnentage gefreut. Besonders Olga, meine Lieblingsziege, ist froh dass sie nicht mit den anderen im Stall hocken muss :D

Hoffen wir dass es bald wieder so schön heiß und sommerlich wird. Und wenn heuer jemand mitkriegt dass ich mich über die Hitze beklage: "a leichte detschn" hat noch keinem geschadet ;)

Hallo :)

Juhuuuu heute werd ich 23 :) Geburtstage sind so was Schönes! Nicht nur wegen der Geschenke :P hehe. Aber vor ein paar Jahren noch dachte ich, mit 23 dann, dann ist's aus! Dann hab ich ne Wohnung und ein Auto und so weiter... dann bin ich "erwachsen". Ich fühl mich aber wirklich nicht erwachsen :/ Kann mir das Einer sagen: Hört dieses "Wenn ich mal groß bin, dann..." eigentlich nie auf? Oder liegt das nur an mir?

Naja. Aus 23-jähriger Erfahrung kann ich bis jetzt nur Eins sagen: Meine Mama ist die Beste :) Auf sie kann man immer zählen! Und sie hat mir diese wunderbare Kette aus Orangenschalen geschenkt - die sieht süß aus und riecht auch noch lecker. (Die Farben sind in echt intensiver.)

Cats and Style

Hallo!

Eigentlich mag ich Katzen ja. Sind kuschelig, süß, eigenwillig... Die liebe Rolex zum Beispiel, wie ihr unten seht, hat es ganz besonders auf Handtaschen abgesehen ;) Der beste Beweis also, dass an der Bildunterschrift auch was Wahres dran ist - Katzen haben einfach Stil.

Ob Hund, Katze, beides oder vielleicht gar nix von beidem kann sich eh jeder selber aussuchen. Ich persönlich glaube ja, dass Katzen eher von Frauen geliebt werden, während Männer lieber Hunde mögen. Glaubt ihr das auch? Und wenn ja, woran könnte es liegen?Und vor Allem: Seit ihr eher der Hunde- oder Katzentyp? (Ist übrigens eine lebenswichtige Frage :D
